CO2 laser with controlled outcomes
eCO2 plus works by fractional ablative 10,600 nm CO2 laser and its absorption target in the skin is water. The laser is absorbed by all the tissues containing water with the highest fractional depth of penetration resulting in micro-ablation columns of the skin layers including dermal ones & fibrotic tissue. A later formation of new healthier skin results from the thermal effect that shrinks collagen & triggers necollagenesis.

Supported by its guidelines, eCO2 plus provides variable controls: increasing energy will increase the depth of ablation, using smaller beam diameter increase depth of ablation & limits the diameter of thermal damage, increasing power will increase the depth of penetration & vice versa.
